Why are most consultants super expensive?
In professional consulting there are many different skills that a person can have. Although any particular consultant may have a large number of skills, your particular project may only require a small subsection of those skills. Consultants know this, however, and they base their bill rate off of the number of skills they have, not the particular work that they are doing for you. This results in people frequently overpaying by a substantial amount.
What makes PowerDNN More Affordable?
Instead of hiring one single person to do the work for you, we break the project up into smaller tasks and assign the individual tasks to people of the appropriate skill level. This substantially reduces the cost of your project, decreases the time to delivery and does not degrade the quality of your project.
For example, lets say that you have a 20 hour development project. Of these 20 hours, 15 hours are moderate tasks that can be done by a "Level 2 Programmer" (typically $40-$50/hr), however, the remaining 5 hours are highly technical and require the expertise of a "Level 4 Programmer" (typically $95-$125/hr). When faced with such a project, many people will hire one single Level 4 Programmer to complete the entire project which would mean the project could cost as much as $2,500. At PowerDNN, we make sure that the right people are doing work appropriate for their skill level. By having a Level 2 programmer do 15 hours work and a Level 4 programmer only do 5 hours, the absolute most the project would cost is $1,375 - a 45% savings!
Additionally, because we are PowerDNN, consultants want to work for us. This allows us to get better rates from our consultants and we can the pass that savings on to you!
